Privacy policy

Cutline is a simple, static informational site. We collect as little as we can get away with, we do not sell your data, and we would rather explain things plainly than bury them in legalese.

What we collect

Not much. Cutline is a static site with no accounts, no logins, and no forms to fill in. If we run analytics at all, we use a privacy-respecting setup that measures aggregate traffic (like which pages are popular) without building a profile of you, without third-party advertising trackers, and without selling or sharing the data. Your hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and to keep the site running, as nearly all websites do.

What we don't do

  • We do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone.
  • We do not run advertising networks or behavioural ad trackers.
  • We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect names or email addresses unless you choose to email us.

When you click out to a VPN provider's site, that third party may set a cookie to credit us for the referral. Where the live scores come from

The live group standings and scores you see on Cutline are pulled from a third-party sports data API, fetched through our own proxy so your browser never talks to the upstream API directly. We pass through match data only. We do not send the provider anything that identifies you.

Changes to this policy

If our setup changes, we will update this page and refresh the "last updated" date above. Because the site is static and intentionally minimal, changes should be rare.
